Stratford Olympic Park High Mead Loop Tunnel

KH Electrical Services have recently successfully delivered works to the High Meads Loop tunnel located on the main East London Olympic site adjacent to Stratford International Station under the management of Volker Fitzpatrick.

The works included the installation of support bracketry, containment and cabling to surface mounted luminaries to the north and south walls of the tunnel and to 3 escape stairwells situated at each end of the tunnel.

Installation of power and lighting to a new Switch room located at the south West end of the enclosure including distribution and termination of Tunnel lighting supplies.

The works also included for the Installation of a Dry Riser Main and signage to the tunnel walls.

Due to the High security profile of this site, the delivery of material and labour required very careful planning to prevent vehicles being refused entry.
